When speaking of poker players who have been just as great at making a name for themselves with their words as they've been with their play, Mike Matusow would have to rank right at the top of the list. In fact he has been nicknamed "The Mouth" for his brash talk and questionable antics at the table, which could oftentimes be construed as bullying.
Hellmuth is an 11-time bracelet holder, and is thought to be one of the best poker tournament players in the world, although many feel that when it comes to big cash games, he can't quite compete with the best. His fans, and his detractors, will have a chance to watch him in competition in the $200-$400 games on NBC's Poker After Dark, where he will compete against five other players in a $100,000 buy-in tournament.
The two-week poker after dark series, called "The Hellmuth Bash" will star Phil Hellmuth, Tom Dwan, Kenny Tran, Phil Laak, Antonio Esfandiara, and Bob Safai.
